Toronto Raptors Won NBA Eastern Conference Trophy

Toronto Raptors won the NBA Eastern Conference trophy by beating Milwaukee Bucks in 6 games.

On Saturday, Raptors embraced the victory by 100-94 scores at Scotiabank Arena in downtown Saturday. For the first time ever, Raptors will play in the NBA Finals.

Kawhi Leonard said, “I worked so hard to get to this point with the season I had last year. I think we just went out there and did our job.”

A seven-year veteran with the Raptors, Kyle Lowry said, “It means a lot. It’s taken a long time to get here. I’m not satisfied. Our goal is to win the NBA Championships.”

During the game, a number of fans gathered in Jurassic Park on Bremner Boulevard & in the surrounding area. After the victory of the team, People of Toronto celebrated heavily.

On Thursday, the first game will begin at 9 PM in Toronto. Notably, the first game will be against the California team Golden State Warriors.

To recall, Toronto Raptors were lagging behind bucks by 15 points till the fourth quarter. Afterwards, it trailed most of the game.

Further, many fans congratulated the team on its marvellous success. Moreover, the Toronto Raptors also announced the victory via official Twitter page.

Early Sunday, “Nick Nurse, Raptors’ head coach said, “It wasn’t going that well. It seemed like a bit of a frustrating night … we kind of regrouped at half-time. (Leonard) seemed to inspire us with some monster rebounds.”

Leonard scored 27 points and led the losing game with 17 rebounds to the high. Additionally, Lowry scored 17 points and 8 assists. He grabbed the game ball after the sound of the final buzzer. Pascal Siakam scored 18 whereas Fred VanVleet finished with 14 points.

Daniel Reynolds, Editor-in-chief of Toronto Raptors HQ was closely following the team. He said performance, mental toughness and spondulicks manifestation by the team is remarkable.

Reynolds said, “This season what we’ve seen most of all is that the Raptors haven’t folded under pressure. Never mind the increase in talent that they’ve got with Kawhi Leonard, and even veterans like Danny Green and Marc Gasol, the fact in the face of some adversity, they bounced back.”

The Toronto Raptors performance helped broaden the fan base of the team. It also added some long term fans in the team’s fan list.
